My notes. "No. OH, NO."

Southern-Style Creamed Chicken
1/2 C chopped onion
3 T butter
1.5 C milk
2 T flour
dash of cayenne
1.5 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 C mayo
1.5 C chopped cooked chicken
10 oz pkg frozen peas
4 hard cooked eggs, sliced
1 jar mushrooms
1 package cornbread

Saute onion in butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add cheese and stir til melted. Blend with mayo, adding chicken, peas, eggs, and mushrooms. Heat thoroughly and serve over hot cornbread.

I don't even know how to process this.

I need a recipe that uses broth and cooked chicken, but is not soup.

This is really delicious

Chicken Paprika
2 T butter
1/2 C chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tomato, peeled and chopped
1 T paprika
1/2 C sour cream
1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
3/4 C chicken stock + 1/2 C in reserve
1.5 lbs chicken
1/4 C flour
1/4 C light cream
Dash of hot sauce

Heat butter in a heavy saucepan and add onion and garlic, sauteeing until lightly browned. Add the paprika, tomato, red pepper, and stock. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Add the chicken. Cover and cook until tender (about 40 minutes). Remove chicken to a platter. Add another 1/2 C chicken stock. Blend in the flour, light cream, and a sauce of hot sauce and cook, stirring, until thickened. Add sour cream and cook until heated thoroughly, but do not boil. Serve over noodles or rice.

In food processor, process 1 whole jalapeno in 1/4 C lime juice, 2 T water, and 1 clove garlic. Marinate 8 oz boneless chicken breasts overnight. Broil or grill chicken, slicing thinly when rested. In corn tortilla place a small dollop of sour cream, a little chopped tomato, sliced jicama, and top with chicken.

I think that recipe could actually be good if you just omit the second "blend". Or maybe blend the cheese sauce with the mayo, then leave the rest of the ingredients unblended. Perhaps it's just poorly worded?
