Homeschooling magazines
A friend of mine is venturing into hs'ing next school year with her four girls (oldest would be in 6th grade at that time) & has received two magazines in the mail already. She read them & didn't get a 100% comfortable vibe, so I told her I would ask about them on here since chances are you've at least heard of these, or maybe even get a subscription...
Homeschooling Today: A Journal of Home Discipleship Home Education Magazine Comments on either? ETA: If you DO have a favorite, why not tell us about it? |

Re: Homeschooling magazines
Love, love, love, Home Education magazine. Especially the articles by the Kaseman's. Love the magazine's philosphy and approach to loving and nurturing your child(ren's) love of learning. I have met Mary Nix in real life. She is awesome!!!
Homeschooling Today- I didn't like so much. If I remember correctly, I know they have to have advertisers and all, but all the advertising distracted me Again, that is if this is the one I am remembering. I got my sample issue and knew it was not for me.

She should call for sample issues.
I've gotten The Old Schoolhouse, and it wasn't for me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Homeschooling Today, though after reading the PP, I'm wanting to look at Home Education. |
