To my knowledge, their relationships are fine... I believe one of their daughters (Rebekah?) writes for The Old Schoolhouse magazine and has posted clarifications on her parents beliefs, etc. I haven't heard about any "problems" etc.

They say that it's all good. I don't know anyone who knows them IRL to verify this. I do wonder how accurate this is re: their inner feelings (the children's), as they were whipped for not smiling while growing up.
