Yummly is pretty awesome.
PlateJoy has good vegan recipes and you can choose gf, also. If you do the free trial you can print a ton of recipes to try. Then decide if it's worth paying for the app. |

Re: Family friendly vegan gluten free meals
i can't wait to try a few of these in this thread.
I just made this tonight (I doubled the recipe so you could do that and have it for work days). Big hit with my family https://www.eatwell101.com/crockpot-...ut-soup-recipe I didn't even do the parsley or rosemary for garnish, but I did include the optional cayenne pepper and that's what made it so amazing. Just a hint of a kick.

Re: Family friendly vegan gluten free meals
Things we’ve found as wins are:
Loaded Baked potatoes - chili beans, brocoli (cheese & sour cream for those who do that) Stir fry - once a week we@ve Ben having some kind of stir fry. My kids are letting me get creative with sauces but have found they prefer homemade sesame ginger the best. BBQ bean and mushroom sandwiches- this was a surprise win. We wanted bbq chicken but did chopped up mushrooms, Navy beans and shredded carrot instead with a bbq sauce. This week they approved roasted veggie flatbread and a comfort food for them of Spanish rice beans and peas. We are trying to balance one new attempt a week with one familiar enjoyed meal. Oh and I had a parent fail last. I guy and forgot about my almost 16yos request to not eat beef and made cottage pie. So after dinner we looked up a recipe using veggies instead that she said she was willing to try. |
