August Dinners
Please share what you are eating for your main meal each day. Links, recipes, and pics are appreciated.
Today I'm planning on making parmesan tilapia, rice, zucchini, and kale caesar salad.

Re: August Dinners
Tonight we had 'meatza' and Slimming World style chips with beetroot and pickled onions on the side. Random veggies but once I'd prepped the rest I couldn't be bothered to chop anything else

Re: August Dinners
I made a lentil soup with chicken sausages and sauteed kale on the side. I mixed all of mine together, but my kids prefer everything separate. (That way they can avoid the green. )

We had pan fried chicken with ramen noodles (Blue Apron meal) and a cucumber tomato salad. It was really yummy.

Re: August Dinners
The good salads in my house are "build-your-own" because no one except me and dh want it all. So for a Cobb salad I set out lettuce, tomato, crumbled bacon, sliced hard-boiled eggs, avocado, feta cheese, and sliced grilled chicken. I think I also set out garbanzo beans and cucumber, but those might not be part of a Cobb salad.

Re: August Dinners
Tonight was Slow Cooker Jerk Chicken Tacos with Caribbean Salsa from the Skinnytaste Cookbook. The recipe in the link is close. The corn tortillas fell apart and made it messy to eat. Next time I'll serve it over rice.(eta or crunchy taco shells)
Do you all find that a certain brand of chicken is better and more tender? Even when I use my slow cooker, it seems like chicken is always tough lately.
