Default Anyone have SodaStream?

What model do you have? Do you like it?

Wal-Mart has two models. I can't tell what the benefits are of the more expensive model. Amazon has several models.

I only want to make sparkling water. I won't be buying any of the syrups.

I have one. This is the model - though I think it's been updated a bit. Super easy to use. I think it comes with plastic bottles but I believe there are glass bottles that can be purchased separately.

Target also sells them so maybe look there to compare prices.

I bought mine off groupon

We have the 2nd generation model, but I keep watching to see if the newer model has a better press in the back as these are prone to break if your kids are rough with them. So far ours has lasted around 2 years. We are due to replace all our bottles soon, and we keep debating the glass bottles but with marble flooring and cement/pvc type flooring in the house with clumsy kids, we're not sure if it's cost effective.

We had one and sold it in a yard sale this spring. We were going through the canisters fairly regularly when we were using it and it was expensive! We did not use the syrups but the local (fancy kitchen) store that we got canisters from kept pushing them on us so that definitely contributed to us not liking it.

I have the 'crystal' one in love it. It is how I get my children to drink water. If I add anything to the water it is juice concentrate. ( I do have a caffeinated drink mix that I will make for me )
