So I'm being productive but not so much at cleaning I'm not really remembering the last time I mopped.... Jan? Today I'm baking pumpkin sourdough muffins and regular sourdough bread. I walked the dogs and did some exercises and showered! I've been making lunch for my teens because the food gets rotated through better when I prepare it for them. I'm still going to have to throw away a bunch of lunch meat that has gone bad. I had a quiet time and talked to a neighbor on the phone. My mentor from church is supposed to call me this afternoon. So today has been about connection. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
Oh, those 8 loads weren't done in one day. They'd been sitting in the baskets for an undisclosed amount of time. It's classified.
Garden today! Managed to put off my closet yet another day! But it was 65°F and sunny. Could not stay inside. 3 varieties of kale, 3 varieties of lettuce, Spinach, Sugar snap peas, planted. Hacked away at more of those darn blackberries. Checked on the perennials. Looking good! Saturday is supposed to be cold and rainy. Closet day. ---------- Post added at 08:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:48 PM ---------- Tomorrow starts our spring break for homeschool. |

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
Not exactly housework, but I got the kids' group Easter photo done today! Always a huge chore twice a year, but this year went pretty smoothly and I'm happy with the result.

Great job! This is something I always put off. We are supposed to take a family picture today all dressed up. We'll see if I can get it to happen. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
So this project took on a life of it's own. Most of my kitchen cabinets are cleaned out and organized! And lots of stuff in the trash or to be given away!

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
Every day:
Couples book dh and I are doing. Personal Bible study Gratitude journal OUTSIDE exercise everyday (hike as a family, mountain bike as a family, or kids do soccer while dh and I walk dogs). (We have not missed a day since this started! go us!) Weights (<-- this is the one I have been slacking on) Not this week bc its Spring break - but when school is in session. Kids have a choice - by 8am they can either be outside practicing soccer and online and in school by 9am or start school at 8am. One re-organizational area. Both dh and I have to still work every day from home as well (not this week for me due to Spring Break). Daily to do list.

We are a family of isolators. It's a big deal when we all do something together. Last night we had online Good Friday service with a movie but ds decided he needed to work (Door Dash) and I was disappointed that he chose that over family time. I got so much done with the organizing yesterday and I'm going to do more today. I'm trying to get rid of all the hidden junk areas and also organize paper files, manuals, etc. They are all over instead of one place. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
