Is there any point in trying natural stuff in this situation?
So, about 3 weeks ago I got a yeast infection. I let it go way too long, probably 3-4 days, before finally treating it because I was lazy. I figured since I'd waited so long I should probably just do an OTC treatment, so I did Monostat - and it never really took care of it. It kind of went away, but every once in a while it would itch again, and this past week it came back. I tried garlic for about 24 hours and it seemed to make things worse for some reason - WAY itchier than it was before I used it. Should I keep with the garlic or should I admit defeat on this one and just do another Monostat??

I've had great success with plain yogurt and apple cider vinegar.
Yeast is always present in small amounts so it's important to figure out why it's being allowed to over-populate instead of being kept in check by the healthy flora and fauna. There are also vaginal probiotics that you can buy. Jarro Fem-Dophilus is one. |

YOu may be getting die off from the garlic if it’s worsening.as the yeast sheds it gets worse before it gets better.

Glad it helped so quickly. Oddly this thread just reminded me to give my itchy skinned pup who was scratching away behind me a baking soda water wipe down!
