Carole Joy Seid?

Our church is hosting a seminar by this lady - does anyone know anything about her. It seems she usually does homeschooling seminars, but the one we are hosting is about parenting - titled "Let the Children Come to Me".

The website says some things about first time obedience and a happy heart, but that's about it.

Should I be worried?

Well, I haven't heard of her, but "first time obedience and happy heart" raises some major red flags.

I went to her homeschool seminar about seven years ago and loved her. Of course, that was right at the beginning of my paradigm shift. Maybe there was stuff that I didn't notice. I just remember her approach being so fun and relaxed. She seemed to be a gentle soul.

Let us know how it goes.

I probably won't go because it costs $45 and since I don't have any kids anyway....

but.... my DH runs sound and might have to be there so I can always hang out withi him and eavesdrop.

I am very curious about her stance on discipline, too. Anyone else?
