I'm tired of this...
So, I have had an issue for years. I get diarrhea frequently, (with immodium 2 to 3 times a week) So, I go to a Gastroenterologist and they do EVERY possible test. I have had 2 colonoscopies, capsule endoscopy, regular endoscopy, stool samples, celiac markers, blood tests, elimination diets etc. So finally, she tells me to cut out gluten even though the celiac markers were negative. So I did, well, it was weird feeling but I actually ended up constipated. First time in my life. OK so every once in a while I still have a bad week and I can't figure out why. I'm assuming that I'm falling prey to "hidden" gluten. Anyone have a list of items that contain gluten that shouldn't contain gluten. For instance, I had some chinese food and had a bad week afterwards. Well, turns out (I didn't know this before) soy sauce contains gluten. Please tell me there is a wonderfully easy, comprehensive list of foods that have a hidden mission of making me miserable.
PS I'm apparently having a bad week and the only things new I've had this week are diet sodas and kielbasa. I think it was the kielbasa that did it because I can't imagine that diet soda has any gluten in it. Also, how can my celiac markers be negative and yet gluten is the cause. I know it is the cause because it works when I avoid it, but WHY were the markers negative?

Re: I'm tired of this...
I also have gluten sensitivity without the celiac markers.
Here's an article about it: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...522456636.html And here's a list of ingredients that contain gluten: http://www.celiac.com/articles/182/1...nts/Page1.html
