Re: Your favorite toy that the kids ever had
When I think of favorite toys, I think of the ones we still have...that are packed away or still regularly used by visiting guests (my youngest is 14). Those would be:
- baby dolls w/some odds & ends clothes and a cradle - play wooden food - matchbox cars - a small tin of dollhouse items with little bears (rather than little dolls) - minifigures (these could be anything, but we have strawberry shortcakes, cabbage patch, smurfs, bears...all in one of those tupperware alphabet lunchboxes) - wooden marble run blocks - a few small play purses and old cell phones and keys - legos - dominoes - a few cherished board books - schleich animals and fairies - sarongs & scarves (rather than play silks) for dress up & fort building It sounds like a lot, but most of those things are small, and almost all are in one of those cloth cube boxes made to go a bookshelf. If you have those things already, what about a few new items to go with the collection? (i.e. more matchbox cars, schleich animals, minifigures, wooden food, marble blocks...) Oh, and we STILL have the play tent that we got for DD when she was about 2. It comes out in the back yard for all my friends kids in the summer. AND we have a huge bean bag we got for her when she was 3 that she still loves.
