Ring sling for 9mn old
I have always used an Ergo with peanutbutter but a wanted to get a ring sling for easy side carrying. DS does not seem to like it and its not as comfortable for me. I have a very small frame and DS is tall, maybe this is why? Any suggestions?

Re: Ring sling for 9mn old
Well...it could be that it's not tightened quite right. You could post pics (neck down) and we could try to help you tweak it.
It could be that it's just not going to be as comfortable as a two-shouldered carrier. Some people love their ring slings, some people find that one shoulder carrying just doesn't work as well for older babies. |

Show us. I'm petite and still wore my 3 year old in a hip carry.

Most common position problem is not having the body close enough - not snuggling in high and snug enough. A pic would help.

Re: Ring sling for 9mn old
A wrap conversion would be infinitelt more comfortable than, say, a maya wrap...

Re: Ring sling for 9mn old
I'm not sure you can upload it to GCM, I think you have to have it hosted on another website somewhere, like flickr or photobucket or something.

Re: Ring sling for 9mn old
I used a ring sling for mine and while it was comfortable, the shoulder would get a little sore, it may be the same position you'd wear the Ergo in so.... Maybe switch to a back carry? I don't wear my son at all because he weighs over a quarter of what I do, and I can't physically do it. Pulling the baby close to you does help, if baby is sagging down at all, you're going to feel it.
