Homemade Strawberry Frosting?
Without a food processor? All the recipes I have found that don't call for a food processor call for flavoring oil that I can't get here. The party is on Saturday. Help?
I have: A blender, a potato masher, a wooden spoon, a stand mixer, a handheld electric beater with two detachable beater things.

Re: Homemade Strawberry Frosting?
Are they frozen or fresh strawberries?
With frozen strawberries, I just let them thaw and then squish them with a spoon. After that, I can use a stand mixer. (And if you don't mind a few strawberry chunks in the frosting, you don't even need to squish them--the stand mixer kills them). For fresh, I would mash first (with a cup, rolling pin, etc.) and then use a stand mixer. |

Re: Homemade Strawberry Frosting?
a blender would do similar to a food processor. But here's a recipe that just says mash them:
