Proper preparation and serving of soft boiled eggs
This year in Denmark, my daughter and I came to love soft boiled eggs. When we got home, she only wanted "Denmark" eggs. I overcooked them and they all became hard boiled eggs. So, when my hubby went back to Denmark, I asked him to get me one of their little egg timers that goes in the pot. He did. I keep it in the fridge with the eggs so everything is the same temperature. I cook it until it says "soft" on the timer. My dd is still upset they aren't "Denmark" eggs.
Someone, please tell me how to make soft boiled eggs. On purpose. And--I feel like a barbarian eating such eggs--so any tips on proper etiquette would be appreciated. |
