My soup is better than your soup ;)

I am sharing my soup recipe I made tonight because it was NOM!!

One pound of navy beans, soaked and cooked until mostly done
Meanwhile, while they are cooking, caremelize a couple three good-sized sweet onions
When beans and onions are done, add your onions to your beans, then also add italian seasoning to taste (don't you just love how specific my recipes are?

) salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar (trust me), a big (28oz) can diced tomatoes, and a package of Morningstar farms Italian sausages, cooked and chopped. (You could substitute on the sausages, I just used the Morningstar ones, because they're good and not too spicy for my kids and cheap

)
Simmer for a while, until the flavors merge and/or your husband gets home

Sausage info They are frozen, and can be found in all different parts of the freezer department, depending on who decided where they go

I've found them in with "breakfast" type stuff, in the "organics" section, and some places have a special part for the meatless stuff.
