Recipe for cherry jam?
My sis's tree is dripping in cherries and I'd like to turn them into jam. Anyone have some good recipes? Also, do you think I could put them thru a mill to avoid having to pit them or are they too big to be able to do that? I've also thought of cooking them just a bit and THEN runnign them thru the mill.

Re: Recipe for cherry jam?
I would definitely pit them. I think they are too firm and too large to go successfully through a mill. I don't have a recipe for cherry jam that I swear by or anything but here's a link to a pretty simple one from recipezaar.
