Do you ever get really bored with food?
I cannot think of anything that sounds good to eat anymore. Everything we normally make sounds blah and anything I see online doesn't look good either. I feel like we are stuck eating the same meals and the same veggies every day.
What do you do when you get in a food rut? Any good recipes? I've been trying to come up with some easy stuff to make ahead or do in the crock pot after baby is born but everything just sounds so boring.

Re: Do you ever get really bored with food?
YES. I wish I could help you, but I'm in the exact same place. It's been worse the whole time I've been pregnant. It's also been worse since I stopped eating (hardly any) dairy. Actually, if you CAN eat dairy, I could give you a whole bunch of ideas using cheese that I've been dying for!

Re: Do you ever get really bored with food?
I linger on pinterest searching key words "Paleo apple" or some thing. I am with you, I get so so sick of food. I eat to stay alive some weeks. It's not even that I dislike our food, it tastes yummy. I just get uninspired. I am excited for the cool weather in that I won't be worrying about heating up the whole house ...i feel limited in my options.

Re: Do you ever get really bored with food?
I may or may not have an obsession with new recipes. I love trying new stuff all of the time. As evidence I present my pinterest boards. Maybe you can find some new stuff there.

Re: Do you ever get really bored with food?
Just commiseration here. It's worse for me during pregnancy too. Nothing sounds appealing, especially after considering the effort required to prepare it. I browse Pinterest for a new recipe to try every week or two; sometimes it helps. I also make DH and each of the kids choose one meal a week, purely to save me the effort of figuring out what to make.

Re: Do you ever get really bored with food?
This is exactly how I have been feeling lately. But mine isn't just making food I don't even want to choose food from a restaurant, and I'm not pregnant. I know I need to eat and I get hungry but I just don't have anything that I really want to eat. Sometimes it helps to walk through the store. I don't know why, but sometimes seeing the ingredients when I'm hungry gets my brain going and I remember a food I haven't made in a while.
