Garlic herb rotisserie chicken
I just did this for dinner tonight, i'd never tried it before and it came out sooo yummy!
so here it is a whole chicken (mine was almost 3.5lbs) 4 cloves of garlic-roughly chopped 1/4 onion-fine diced onion powder mixed herbs (grinder got from aldi) pepper (used a peppercorn grinder from aldi) extra virgin olive oil-just eye it-i think i used about 1/4-1/2c put into a dish mixed everything but the chicken together stuck the chicken in-made sure to coat the outside and stuffed some of the garlic/onion inside as well covered and set overnight in the fridge got out-stuck on the spicks-and threw it into the rotisserie (which happens to be my microwave) for 2hrs was sooo soo yummy!!! i was iffy with all the garlic and onion if the kids would really like it but they all did I'm sure it'd work in the over as well-as chicken does-but i love how the rotisserie leaves the skin moist but crunchy and the inside soo juicy! anyways, just thought i'd share...i'll surely be doing it again (so i'm also writing this for my memory lol! ) |
