Looking for vegan pizza w/o fake cheese or tofu...

I'm making up some whole wheat pizza dough and planning on pizza for dinner. My kids love a pizza with just sauce, so that'll be their dinner, but I wanted something a bit yummier for dh and I. It needs to be relatively high in protein because I have a class tonight, and too many carbs make me start to fall asleep before it ends at 10:00PM

. I was thinking of this one, but my dh hates onions. So then I thought of this one. Oh, and this one looks yummy, but doesn't really have much in the way of protein.

So, do you have any good recipes that are kind of similar? I just want something yummy and that I don't have to buy more ingredients from the store in order to make

I have lots of spinach, tomatoes, red peppers, fruits, tomato sauce, and beans, so I should be able to figure something out, right?

ETA: I just had an idea... what about nuts?

I ended up making the apple pizza and adding nuts. I made this whole wheat dough and it was perfect!

I'm late, but cashew cheese sauce is amazing. I thought there would be no way it would taste cheesy, but it changes after it heats up a bit. I found the raw pizza with the cashew sauce was really, really good.

Do you have a good recipe for the cashew sauce? Is it just cashews?

I don't have the book, it's at the library. But, I think they are all pretty similar. It had cashews, lemon juice. I can't remember if it had nutritional yeast.
