Re: Arnold Palmer....................
We already sweeten iced tea with honey, so that probably wouldn't bother us.
I've never heard of Arnold Palmer, but I've heard of iced tea and lemonade mixed together. |

Re: Arnold Palmer....................
Okay, Mamas...........I bought lemons and couldn't remember if I had reg. tea bags (know I have green tea), so I bought instant. I thought I remembered not particularly caring for instant, and now I remember why. Does anyone else think it tastes bitter?
The lemonade recipe I had that was a "syrup base" like MarynMunchkins described actually said to use the juicer. That thing does NOT get used enough, so I thought "why not?!" I don't think I'd do that again though......it gives it a "texture" -- y'know, like pulpy OJ (which dh doesn't care for). Soooooooooooo...........I made a cup of homemade Arnold Palmer to trial before dh gets home & took a sip of the "real thing" to compare. The REAL DEAL is way sweeter. I think this is gonna take a bit of trial and error . On a high note, I am making homemade pizza crust that has Italian Seasoning, Parmesan, and Minced Garlic! I'm *hoping* it's more foolproof!!! |
