Sweet Sleep by LLL

Anyone read this book published by La Leche League? It's at our library but has a long wait list. I found it for about $15 at a local book store and trying to decide if I should take ds out to get it. It looks like a lot of it is about how to co-sleep safely, which is info I already have. Looking more for sleep strategies.

I haven't read it, but it sounds interesting! I'm always intrigued when there's a long wait lost.

Does your local LLL have a copy they can lend out?

I can't go to the meetings I was attending, now that I'm back at work. But when I was there, one of our leaders had just gotten a (signed!) copy at a lactation conference. She had it there, but it wasn't for check out. I asked about the book on our FB group, and none of the other leaders mentioned having it to lend out.

It is at our local Barnes and Noble, but $7 more in store than online! But I'd have to pay shipping if I got it online- and wait longer!

I just got Sears' Nighttime Parenting book from the library. Just barely skimmed through it. Doesn't look super helpful, but I'm going to try to look through it some more. The Sweet Sleep book is something like 500 pages, so there has to be something useful, right?!

I think it would likely fit very well with AP beliefs. Since LLL believes babies should be parented gently and nurse through the night (if baby so desires) and be attended to around the clock.
