Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
I cleaned the microwave today. It was embarrassingly gross. I don’t use it but apparently I’m the only one who cleans it.

I use it more now, and I’m still the only one that cleans it. I even bought a cover thing to go over food and no one uses it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
I deep cleaned my bedroom and bathroom today. Under the bed and all the furniture, window sills, etc. We don't have carpeting so it's a lot of work. Washed all the blankets and they're drying outside. It was nice enough to have the windows open while doing it.
I'm still avoiding my closet. Soon. ---------- Post added at 03:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:01 PM ---------- I could make a long list of things I don't use but I'm the one who cleans. humph. |

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
These are my lists for the last two days. So far, I've accomplished mostly everything.
I'm really trying to balance being productive with doing stuff with my kids and for myself. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
I decluttered some in my bedroom. It's sort of become a catch-all for the main floor, so I have a lot of stuff I need to get through. I made a good dent in it today. I also cleaned out the freezer, and practiced piano for an hour.

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
My whole home has never been cleaner.
Everything has been reorganized or decluttered (admittedly, I don't have a lot of clutter though). Next up: This landscape project I keep putting off. Im better with a dozen smaller projects than 1 large one. Vacuum out my mini-van. Dh and the kids usually do this for me for Mother's Day so I only need to avoid this task for another 2 weeks and it might get doe for me. Oh . . . I have another one. . . but I will start a separate thread asking for advice on it.

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
Today I sprayed the foundation of our house for ants. I hate that it needs to be done, but it does, and I'm glad it's over with for the year.
I hacked away at the evil blackberries and did some more yard work. Washed more bedding and dried it outside. Nothing better than sleeping in a bed with bedding dried in the sunshine. I did all three litter boxes earlier this week. Repotted my new rosemary plant. |

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
Spent the day making masks for each of us (using this pattern plus a third layer of cotton in the middle). Finally done.

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
We got the bottom layer of the dance floor noodled and cut and after I noticed a stupid bonehead mistake. It doesn’t affect anything it was just two totally unnecessary cuts and it’s totally bugging me. I think we could have finished the floor tonight but dh got called into work.

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
This weekend we built a shade house for the llamas and finished trimming goat hooves. I ordered some scrubby brushes and sponges that attach to a drill to scrub my shower which was really gross. I could blame well water and bar soap...but I didn’t clean it in like...I don’t even know how long

I've always had a really hard time with the bottom because it's got deep lines for grip. This is the first time I've ever seen the bottom clean! I have a difficult time scrubbing because of tendinitis in my wrist. I'm hoping to get our garden going this weekend. I'm not a good gardener and our soil isn't great so I hope we can grow something.

Re: Getting stuff done during lockdown challenge!
I’ve been working on decluttering and emptying our garage. The work is getting done just 30-60 minutes a day. It seemed slow going at first but I feel like all of a sudden the garage looks so much better. It feels so good to get big projects done.
