Last night we had pot roast, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms in the crockpot. I made zucchini chips and gravy to go with it. And a salad.

Loaded baked potatoes. I may do that lentil taco dish for the topper and see how the meat eaters feel about it.

I have decided I need to meal plan like Deanna I am sick of deciding each day...its the deciding that stresses me, not the actual cooking

Tonight we are having tacos as its like a billion degrees here in Sydney, Australia and its quick and easy.

It helps keep my food spending down as well.
In general I also know that Sundays, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays I can have time to cook and we have time to sit as a family.
Mondays are often crock pot days as dh could be home at 4 or not till after 5 but leaves again by 6:30. Wednesday ussually too busy to come home so we all just get it to go. Fridays we are all home but ballet schedule means nothing till after 6pm so generally want something I can do quickly.

Homemade Pizza Night!

Dough is rising and sauce is cooling. Dh is making garlic confit this afternoon, and I'll caramelize onions when the kids are done making lunch.

We ended up just going out for dinner. We are repainting our kit when cabinets and my kitchen is a mess right now. I was just to tired to cook. We had egg drop soup and broccoli with oyster sauce for the girls and I. Sweet and sour pork and fried rice for dh.

Dh has been on this lamb kick lately. (We have three boneless legs of lamb in the freezer. He's going to sous vide one for dinner tonight.

He was experimenting with the sous vide function on the IP for Christmas dinner and the kids couldn't stop raving about how good the lamb was, so he's tweaking the seasoning and making it again tonight. (It was amazingly tender.) Not sure what veggies to have on the side, but I'll at least make a salad.
