Common Sense Media type site for books?
Does anything like this exists? My 9year old is an avid reader, she has mostly worked through all the books in our family library and is branching out into Public Library finds. I am picky about the voices and stories she is exposed to, I generally skim things to bring up discussions or concerns but I was wondering if anyone had taken the time to do this for books, similar to what they do for movies on common sense media.
Anyone know of anything?

Common Sense Media reviews books, too.
Check out the bar on the right. https://www.commonsensemedia.org/#

Re: Common Sense Media type site for books?
I have googled the title of a book and "best age" or "age range". Often reviews from good reads come up or even other random sites/blogs that happen to have discussed the book.

Re: Common Sense Media type site for books?
You could also buy Sarah Clarksons book Read for the Heart. It has a pretty good list. From what I recall she goes into at least a brief description of the book and age ranges. If you want to start a thread on the books she likes and style you are looking for I could chime in there. My 9yr old is an avid reader and we add somewhere in the neighborhood of 75 pounds of books a year to my house. The 7yr old had also caught the reading bug so all our books will be well loved.
You could also check out the Sonlight book list. We go through all of the books from there a year. Although I am having her do the third grade books now at the start of fourth grade. Her reading level is high but I am always cautious about content. She absorbs so much through books. Sorry this got long and fast! The author of the Sarah Plain and Tall series has a bunch of books that are short reads but fantastic. We have read a bunch of bets from the library and are putting them out there as gift ideas. All of my girls will sit and listen to or read her books over and over again.
