Default What are you doing for Thanksgiving dinner?

I'm trying to plan our Thanksgiving dinner, vegetarian style!

My dh is not veggie, and wants me to cook a turkey but I reallllllllly don't want to. Either way, I need some ideas for good dishes!

So far I have garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing and Cranberry and Blood Orange Relish.

Thanks!

I showed your cute avi to DH and he glanced at the thread title and told you to "quit wrecking Thanksgiving"

As you can probably tell, he's not a veggie.

The one time I hosted Thanksgiving, I cooked a turkey because I was the only veg in a group of our extended family of 10. If it were just me and DH and DC, then I may consider just making a turkey breast or cutlet or something smaller I am used to cooking meat for DH every day, so I probably would for thanksgiving too.
The time I cooked for family though, everything else I made was veg*n. I loved having stuffing for the first time in years!

LOL why? I think it went over my head... I got the cranberry and blood orange relish recipe out of some magazine and oh my goodness it looks to die for.

If my husband really wants some turkey for dinner, I'm sure we have some in our freezer. It's still full of meat from when we stopped eating it. My dh just apparently doesn't know how to get a pan out of the cupboard and cook it himself But since it's Thanksgiving, if he really wants some I'll cook it for him. But really, I'm not sure if he minds because the next day we are going to his family's place and they will have TONS of leftovers (and they are far from vegg!)

Send on over the vegetarian recipes!

Yeah I still don't know what else to make besides that stuff above!

Did I say I was going to make a green bean bake? If not, well I am.
