Compassion Experience

Has anyone attended the "Compassion Experience" when it has come to your area?

I am going to try to go, but I am looking for some tips to help it go as smoothly as possible with my toddler and 4 year old. (and all the other kids, too.)

We went a few weeks ago! There were three different stories to go through, one at a time. So you could do one, two, or all three depending on how your kids were doing. My older kids (5 and 7) were interested, so we did all three. Each person has their own headphones/ipod thingie to listen to the story. If you have kids who are too young for that, I would recommend either wearing them (if possible) or bringing a not-too-messy snack to keep them busy. You will be walking through a "set" while you're listening to the story and some of it's not well-lit, so not a lot of other activities would work well. Also, a stroller would not work well because there are stairs and tight places, although they might have had a lift thingie. Not positive on that one.

I was disappointed. I thought it would be more than a push to get people to sign up to sponsor. Some parts of the story were inappropriate for my dd. I heard that there was a special children's version, but that wasn't available when we did it.
