Default DF protein powder recommendation?

Looking for something we can add to spinach/fruit/water smoothies, so nothing with a strong taste or texture. Needs to be dairy free and reasonably priced. Just looking to add protein to fill us up more, not for body building, meal replacement, or anything else extreme.

I use Pb fit. Itís a fairly whole food protein powder since itís just peanuts with most of the fat removed. I donít know if the taste is too strong for you- I like the taste.

I think I have that in the cabinet. Never thought of putting it in our smoothies. Doesn't it give them a peanut taste?

I like pea protein powder but it can be gritty.

I mostly use grass-fed collagen peptides. I buy Zen Principle from Amazon.

The Naked brand is also good. They have a wide variety of protein powders with minimal ingredients/processing.

Chia seeds aren't a protein powder but they have omega 3 and fiber and can make a smoothie much more filling. They are not noticeable after being blended.

Zint has a recall on its collagen.

Quote:

ABH NATURE’S PRODUCTS, INC, ABH PHARMA, INC., and STOCKNUTRA.COM, INC. (the “COMPANIES”) is conducting a nationwide recall of ALL lots of its dietary supplement products pursuant to a Consent Decree entered by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. This recall applies to all dietary supplement products manufactured and sold between January 2013 – November 2019 and all lots of products are included in this recall.

These products are being recalled after an FDA inspection found significant violations of current good manufacturing practice regulations. Manufacturing practices that are not in adequate control represent the possibility of risk being introduced into the manufacturing process resulting in finished supplement products with decreased identity, purity, strength and composition.

That's how I found out, an email from Amazon. Maybe it got buried in your inbox. I bought Zint back in 20013, according to my order history. It's long been consumed, obviously!
