Remineralizing Toothpaste
I found this recipe. Has anyone used something similar? I have had weakened teeth since having children, and now especially since being diagnosed with Hashimoto's.

Re: Remineralizing Toothpaste
I'm interested in this so here.
Oooh, tell me more please! My ds just got his braces off and he has LOTS of weak spots in his teeth. The orthodontist recommended MI paste and I have some but haven't used it yet. How did you apply it?

Re: Remineralizing Toothpaste
MI Paste is amazing. It's by prescription only, though.
My teeth went from being partially transparent (after multiplie pregnancies and tandem nursing) to shiny, hard, and white from taking Mercola Multi Plus Minerals, only half the recommended dose (to save money). It only took 2 months. |

I’ve used MI paste and didn’t have a prescription. You can buy it on eBay as well as other websites.

Re: Remineralizing Toothpaste
I buy our MI Paste from dentistnet.net. It is expensive though. I also use a little bit of xylitol sugar.
you can get either MI or MI plus. The plus has fluoride. Basically the under five kids use it as their main toothpaste. My older children just take a small spoonful of xlitol and then rub a little on their teeth. So far all of my kids have had good teeth. I had a small spot that I needed to work on and the MI Paste did clear it up. It the spot is big and deep it really doesn't work though. A small spot will be healed quickly though. hope that helps |

Re: Remineralizing Toothpaste
How do you know your teeth are weak? I've been having SO much trouble, but I thought maybe they are just extra sensitive.

Otherwise, I have had a lot of dental work in recent years and wonder if some future work can be avoided.
