I'd try the Level 3 placement test...it will confirm that she's mastered the concepts in the first two levels. If she does well, then she's ready for Level 3. If she misses too many, start her in Level 2 to get a solid, comfortable foundation. I'd also take a look at the descriptions for the levels....if you think the items covered in Level 3 sound too easy, you may want to try the placement test for Level 4. Level 3 description (about halfway down) Level 4 description (about halfway down) ***My computer was really slow to load the Level 3 test compared to the rest...It's probably me instead of the file, but if it's glitchy for you, let me know. I saved my copy after refreshng a few times to get it.

Mostly I'd like to see the Readers. I guess they'll be at a homeschool conference this summer. She does well with readers for fluency practice. I don't like using library books as much. She gets mad if she doesn't know a word. It seems most readers at her level still have enough words that she doesn't know that it makes her so, so, so emotional.

Re: All about reading?
It's not the same as having the product in your hands, but if it helps any...there's a sample for each reader, if you click on the reader you want to see and look at the bottom of the product description.
http://allaboutlearningpress.net/go.php?id=346&url=2284 I'd probably have her read a Level 2 reader sample if you show them to her, since the placement test indicates those to be comfortable, and just look at the Level 3 ones yourself as they would include the new stuff taught as she goes through the year. I love them...they're really nice quality for being completely decodable.
