Flip or slider for a basic phone? (Update: ordered a slider!)

This was my slide phone. No buttons to wear out, because all that shows when the keyboard is hidden is a touchscreen.

I have had both a flip phone and a slider phone. I liked my slider phone much better because of the full keypad for texting

I was leaning toward that then thought that maybe it would be annoying to hunt and peck. I am used to typing correctly on the big keyboard with all fingers, it might annoy me to type with just my thumbs. But I won't know until I try it!

And whatever I get I will have to have for two years.

But the thing with the slide phone is that you don't HAVE to use the keyboard to text if you don't want to But at least you have the choice to do so.

My mom talked me into it. It's the same type she has. She told me I'll hate the QWERTY keyboard at first then I'll love it.
