Re: September Dinners
I had oodles of Swiss Chard in the garden so I used it in place of cabbage in stuffed cabbage rolls. That's in the crock pot. I also made a pan of rosemary focaccia.

It's not really a recipe and I'm not sure I've made it before but I plan to saute the porkchops in a skillet, take them out, melt 3 TBSP butter, saute one package sliced baby portobello mushrooms until browned, whisk in 3 TBSP gluten free flour (usually white rice, sometimes sweet rice flour which makes the best gravy but can't find it lately, sometimes ap gf flour) and cook until smooth and it starts to change color, add in one can chicken broth and whisk again scraping up the browned porkchop bits until smooth and thickened, season with salt and pepper.

---------- Post added at 01:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:12 AM ---------- 10 minutes seems just about right for any soup I convert to cook in the IP. It's just a good soup number

Re: September Dinners
Me too! They make a gluten free pizza now. (It's not as good as frozen from Costco or Freschetta, but it's a fun option. They say they have a separate prep area and utensils.)

Re: September Dinners
Quick IP question about the soup - for 10 minutes you are browning the meat ahead of time yes? (I am not very intuitive with the IP )

Re: September Dinners
Yes, I browned the meat, onion, celery & garlic in the IP. Then drained and add the remaining ingredients.
