Re: May Dinners
We had those shrimp fajita bowls tonight. Excellent. I made chicken as well since not everyone likes shrimp.

Re: May Dinners
DD1 made French toast for dinner, along with bacon and fruit. She's very pleased with her cooking skills lately and was excited to be able to make Mother's Day dinner.

Re: May Dinners
Korean beef with broccoli over rice.
Side note: I bought these meal planner containers and every time we have leftovers, I make little meals with them. I used to just put all the leftover meat on one container and the sides in other containers. The result was usually that the main dish got eaten but the rest didn't. And people seem to be grabbing the whole meal boxes quicker than they did with the old way I did leftovers. I'm so happy to see leftover food getting eaten!!! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Re: May Dinners
This week is crazy as between 2 kids we have 6 soccer practices, 1 orchestra concert, 1 band concert. I personally have our every other month meeting after work today thru when the kids leave for soccer.
So yesterday kids made frozen pizza and I had a sandwich. I am sure dh ate but cannot tell you what he had. Today will be similar. Kids will have to make something healthier than frozen pizza though, I just need to tell them that. I did make little salads so they can have that with whatever else they come up with. I will eat at our final meeting of the school year since its a pitch in. Le sigh. On the plus side, laundry is on track and the house isn't a mess. I *had* the kids making meals once a week which helped with the healthy dinners but I have fallen off with asking them what they are making and having the supplies ready. Though ds often makes rice dishes or quesadillas still so that's good which are things we always have on hand (rice, beans, veggies, tortillas, cheese).
