Re: hot spinach artichoke dip
My family likes the one by Paula Dean. We have made a few changes but for the life of me I can not remember what they are right now.

Re: hot spinach artichoke dip
Ooh, yes. Very tasty, but probably not very healthy.
2 8-ounce blocks cream cheese 1 block chopped spinach (we use frozen) 2 big handfuls of chopped marinated artichoke hearts A couple tablespoons or so of marinade from the artichokes Microwave those four together until the cheese is soft and the spinach is thawed. Then... 8 cups grated mozzarella 2 big handfuls parmesan Mix cheeses together with a couple tablespoons of flour Then mix everything together in a 9x13 pan, and cook at 350 until bubbly and browned. Serve with tortilla chips. So so so yummy. |

Spinach Artichoke Dip
-1 8oz package cream cheese -1 9oz package of artichoke hearts -1 cup steamed spinach (1lb raw or one 10oz package frozen) -1/2 cup mayonnaise -1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese -2 garlic cloves -6 large fresh basil leaves -1/2 t. kosher salt -1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper -1/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese Preheat oven to 375. Grease 2 quart baking dish. Mix ingredients together and top with mozzarella. Bake 25-30 minutes or until cheese on top is bubbling. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or bread. I this recipe. I kind of want to make it now.
