Fire alarm and birthday candles

You know the joke of having x amt of birthday candles will set off your fire alarm. Well, my loving sons put the exact amt of my age candles on my birthday cake and sure enough it set the fire alarm off! And that was before I blew them out!

well I was going to put up a comforting response how it was too bad you smoke alarm was so sensitive it decided to go off with only 20 something candles....
But then I saw your kids ages... and assuming you wouldn't find comfort in having a kid at ohh 5 I was faced with a more truthful picture..

Doing basic math I've concluded we are likely similar in age....

Yeah, past the 20's and 30's and 1/2 way thru the 40s......my oldest thought he was so funny buying 2 packs of candles. So I can either think how sweet of him or the little monster!
I think I will keep my teens and not trade for 5 yo....although my 4 yo great nephew is quite fun

Ha in about 6 months I will have both a teen and a five year old...
