My sister and several of my long time friends are doing a book study on this book.

I was invited to come join them while I'm in town next week, but I just don't think I can handle it. I wish I had the guts to go and share GBD, but I hate confrontation and I doubt they are open to it anyway.

My heart is hurting for these babies.

Yeah, I thought so too, Rosanne. Just the title and picture are enough to send me running!

And no, there's no reason for me to go to their meeting. Just to see old friends. But, it's not like I'd get to visit much and I'd have to listen to talk of this book.
I'd rather set up a GCM get together.

Our church had a "parenting seminar" using her DVD series and my friend and I voiced our reason for not going. Also it was a "parenting seminar" but was only for woman. Huh?

Ginger Plowman may have a few OK things to say....but she is endorsed by Tedd Tripp and that just says run to me. Also she is all about baby management.....play pen time...bouncy seat time...this time, that time, how about some time spent in mother's arms!!!

Baby management! That sounds so...strange! What ever happened to letting kids be kids! I mean honestly, are we adults even that structured? Hardly! So why should we expect small children to be so? I'm all for order rather than chaos, but childhood only lasts for so long. The main ingredient to parenting should always be LOVE!

More and more I am beginning to think we do not need to train or managed babies or children. I think it is the parents that need to be trained . (And in some cases healed).

I couldn't ask more about it right then. Maybe I will see if I can skim her copy to see if I can find any decent info.
