I have not been following too closely, but I would like to know when something actually starts happening.
I have debated whether or not to let the kids watch when it does.
I remember a couple of years ago when this same sort of thing was going on. The calf came out the wrong way and was dead or dying, and the camera was covered up really quickly. I don't know if my youngest, who loves giraffes more than any other animal (because of Sophie being her best bud) could take that.

She sounds/looks like she is very ready and close. I was determined not to start following and watching but

have taken several peeks this morning. When vet checked her last night she was still having mucous and swelling and pulsing.Just a few minutes ago it looked like she was talking

I imagined her to be aying she wanted her doula and warm labor tub NOW

More face rubbing Amy and she lifted her tail w/o pooing a couple f times apparently which animals do when contracting

It definitely looks like she is laboring now, but I don't know how long that could take.
But, she is doing a lot of pausing, putting her head down, lifting a leg.

Right? We know what labor looks like!Like I said first time have been watching for any length of time but signs are more imminent.They thought she was in early labor a day or 2 ago but like humans have been showing more and more signs and closer together. Even earlier today she wasnt lifting tail except when she needed to poo

I had to get dishes done in about 4 different sections yesterday because she was so labory kept coming back to check

o she is just like human mamas waiting.There can be all these signs and labory things and then everything stops again for awhile but each round accomplishes something. She seems pretty chill today.
