Default What fruits are in YOUR fruit salad?

I love fresh fruit salad. Especially during the Summertime. What are your favorite fruits to mix together?

Yesterday we had:
blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, banana and apple with a drizzle of fruit punch to preserve the apple and banana. Yum!

Well, first off...they all have to be individually frozen ahead of time and then just thawed enough to be super perfect!

strawberries, peaches, pineapple, mango, papaya. Sprinkle some toasted coconut over each individual serving...delish!

Berries, berries, and more berries (usually black, blue, strawberry and raspberry), watermelon, oranges, nectarines, peaches, grapes, tossed with lemon juice.

I don't really like banana or apple in my fruit salad.

My grandma used to put in maraschino cherries. Not exactly healthy, but, boy, I loved 'em!

I really haven't made fruit salad myself (a bit lazy ), but my parents make it with apples, bananas, orange, grapefruit, pecans and sometimes coconut, I think.

Funny thing is, we never have it in the summertime...it's always made for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Strawberry, cantelope, pineapple, grapes, banana, tossed with lemon juice. Though yogurt would be great too! Maybe some dairy free whip cream! mmmm

How do you toast coconut? Just put the flakes on a baking pan and bake them up a bit?

ETA, nevermind, I found out how to toast coconut!~

Fruit salad.....yummy yummy...

My favorite that I learned when working at a coffee shop is:

Granny Smith apples (cored and sliced, then slices cut into chunks)
Strawberries (halved longways)
Sliced bananas
Green seedless grapes (cut in half)
Drizzled with fresh lemon juice
A little sugar tossed in.

Very tart yet sweet and fresh. YUM!!!!

A friend we visited overnight last night made peach and banana salad for us this morning. Just fresh peeled chopped peaches and sliced bananas. Such a perfect combination! Simple and absolutely yummy. We used it to chase the homemade gooey iced cinnamon rolls.

I've tried a number of different combos - but my fave is:

pineapple, peaches, kiwi, and strawberries (with a little splenda/sugar if needed)

I happen to have a picture of that from the last time I made it:

Yum!

I freeze leftovers of that and it makes GREAT smoothies - which is a great bonus!
