Re: Hot Beverage Alternatives to Coffee
Dandy Blend - It's awesome. You can fix it up just like coffee. I think it tastes WAY better than Teechino.

Do you already have a coffee pot on the counter?

Yes I have a double-wide coffee pot on my counter (it brews espresso and can foam milk).

Re: Hot Beverage Alternatives to Coffee
We drink hot water all the time. Seriously, hot water tastes... I don't know... almost sweet! I add a little honey sometimes, especially if my throat is sore or scratchy. We actually drink more water in the winter than the summer because it keeps us so warm.

Re: Hot Beverage Alternatives to Coffee
Can you clean out the coffee pot and heat your water in that? Or replace it with a hot water pot if you're looking at giving up coffee entirely.

Re: Hot Beverage Alternatives to Coffee
I'm kind of embarrassed to realize how much money I spent on coffee last month So I'm starting off by making a smaller pot of coffee in the morning.

I still haven't sent you that Dandy Blend. It's been in a baggie on my desk for a month. It got buried in Pure Romance orders.

Re: Hot Beverage Alternatives to Coffee
How about wassail? I had no idea it was actually a drink until just a few days ago but it sounds delicious!! We're going to make some later this week, after our neighbourhood Christmas tree lighting. I plan to make it in the crockpot so it's waiting ready for us as we walk in the door. I'm going to try this recipe.

I love tea. I drink black or green varieties with truvia and half and half every day. And it's good for you.

Re: Hot Beverage Alternatives to Coffee
Some teas give me a stomach ache. I'm trying several different ones.

Re: Hot Beverage Alternatives to Coffee
Do I remember right that you have corn issues? (please correct me if I am wrong)....lots of teas have corn in them(esp. flavored ones) or it is on the bag.

i love teas, herbal and fruity ones are my favorites. The Celestial seasons Fruit sampler pack is almost always in my tea drawer. Hot coco is also a big one now that it is winter
