Default butternut squash

i bought a container of organic butternut squash pieces at costco and i have no idea what to do with them. i thought we needed some variety in our diet though, so that's why i bought them.

so...what should i do with them?

Roasted or mashed is delicious, if you want it plain. We love curried squash here.

If not, maybe a creamy soup, or just chunked up in brothy soup.

i need specific recipes...i'm not a good cook unless i have specific directions to follow (is that a type 4 thing?) lol. plus, i've never cooked with butternut squash before so i really have no idea how long to cook it, etc.
