Default made from scratch biscuits

I'm looking for a easy, yummy, fluffy made from scratch biscuit recipe. I have one that I've tried a few times and they all ways turn out hard and a little flat. I know I can search on-line and find a million, but I thought I'd ask here first! Thanks!

Mine are light, but weird. Too much butter I think.

So, umm... Mary B's.

This is the recipe I use all. the. time. They turn out perfectly flaky and fluffy. I often do half whole wheat and half white flour without any issues at all.
