Gardening 2018 Planning!
Now is the time to plan for next year because, by next spring, I won't remember what worked this year and what didn't.
Next year-- No regular peas. Just sugar snap and snow. I'm repeating my same tomato varieties: purple Cherokee and cherry. I'm pulling up all my strawberry plants this fall and ordering new ones for next year. Probably pulling up the blackberry canes, too. Might replace them, might not. I didn't write down the variety of lettuce I planted which is a shame because it did really well, even in the heat. Definitely going to do the short and fat carrots again. Going to try a different variety of kale. Need to look for heat tolerant spinach. Winter squash. Butternut, acorn, and that blue one. Going to try sweet potatoes next year. I'll try broccoli and cauliflower again although I've never had success with it. I'm definitely going to keep using Holly Tone on the blueberries, raspberries, and grapes. That stuff is amazing.. Going to try Garden Tone on everything else. |

Definitely starting tomatoes in March next year. (They're still not green.)
