Thankful to homeschool
The past 4 weeks have been unpredictable, chaotic and just plain crazy. My oldest had his appendix out followed by complications that led to him hospitalized for 6 days. My focus was on him, as you can imagine.
We did school work when we could, squeezed in some math and just plain survived. Now that we are home we are back at our routine, school work in the AM fun in the afternoon. I was frustrated at one point b/c things just weren't getting done, but realized it was ok to miss lessons we can catch up on. So things just went to the side till I was home and focused. On the flip side my middle one focused on keeping up with the laundry and housekeeping. All that to say I am glad we homeschool so that I could focus on oldest ds and the younger were such a big help that wouldn't have been so if they were in school. So glad that when I was home I could love them and just be together. Lessons were learned just not formal ones!
