Re: April 2020 Dinners
Thai takeout. It's comfort food for me and gives me a break. We don't do it often due to cost, but man, I am looking forward to it tonight.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Dd cooked one of our meal kit meals tonight while I was driving back from getting ds's stuff from college. We got home just in time to enjoy this.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
We had LA seafood (catfish) takeout last night. DH enjoyed it so much - it made my heart glad! He’ll be working 84 hours over the next seven days.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Last night I made Crispy Chicken, Bacon and Pesto Gnocchi Skillet using Trader Joe's cauliflower gnocchi because I'm trying to use stuff out of my freezer. It actually tasted really good, but was a bit greasy (which I think was my fault for using too much grease to cook the gnocchi).

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Dh is braising a turkey. Cranberry sauce from the freezer. I have no idea if he's planned anything else.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Last night we had pork chops, candied carrots, pineapple casserole and garlicky green beans.
I love meals like that when Hubs is home. I tackle the sides and veggies while he does whatever he wants to do with the meat which makes us both happy. |
