what is a good brand or type of seaweed or sea vegetables to buy? I get paranoid about them having pollution or radiation from Japan or something

i've been eating raw until dinner time (most days at least), for a couple weeks. i tried jumping in 100% raw, but it was too much while i am nursing a little one. it gets costly! the amount of produce i need to eat to not be starving vs the amount of beans i need to eat is a huge difference.

i feel really good eating raw though, although i lean too heavy on fruits sometimes and it gets boring. it's just so much quicker to just eat an apple to me than it is to chop veggies. i mean, i guess i could just eat a cucumber straight up without chopping it.

i need more savory ideas. raw nuts taste a little sweet to me, so i get kind of overwhelmed by the sweetness sometimes.

I did 30 days of almost 100% raw two summers ago, and I felt really good. I've done stints of high raw at other times too. I usually get on the kick in the summer, but I'm not eating nearly enough raw this summer. My friend does a high raw, mostly fruit diet and I just saw a picture of her counter on facebook- watermelon, mango, bananas, oranges, papayas covering the whole big counter.

mmmmm- it looked so good and made my mouth water! I need to start eating that way.
