my cucumber snack favorite - raw

I am neither a vegetarian or a vegan (I am not invading

promise) but this dish is, and it is a favorite of mine and so simple. So since it is being made tonight I thought I would share.

1 lemon
1 cumber
salt/pepper
celery salt

Peel cucumber and cut into relatively thin slices. Put into bowl
Squeeze one lemon over the cucumbers. (You may want less juice - I love lemon so I like a lot)
few dashes of salt/pepper/celery salt -not too much or it will get salty (you can add more to taste later if you choose)

Let chill in refridgerator for 1/2 hour

Snack and enjoy

This is very tangy and does something amazing to the taste of the cucumber

Here during winter (WI) most fresh fruits and veggies are not cheap. Will need to wait til sales and/or summer comes. Cukes here are a buck each.

Actually ours are not that much different. I guess it just didn't seem high. I think I should pay better attention to summer pricing

I'll have to try it with lemon. I've had it with rice vinegar and it's so refreshing.
