Very, very cool.

So which programs are you going to attend? The former space geek in me is jumping up and down saying "take me, take me..."

I would love to take the Interferometer tour and see the meteor crater. Although I wouldn't mind the drawing science workshop either. Pueblo Day sounds good too. I really want to go to the Deep Sky Star Party. As I go down the list I'm saying- oooh- that one would be cool; that one would be cool; that one would be cool..... Of course they overlap in time. The kids would have their own agenda of things to see..........

Have a wonderful time and enjoy the break from the heat. (We have already had a frost!)

We're thinking:
talk about bats and then cougars
Volcano crater (we did Meteor crater two years ago and it's about 45 minutes away versus 12 for Volcano

)
the art session at the library
the Arboretum (our favorite every year

)
Pueblo Day
the Deep Sky Party
then the trail hike to see wildlife and the old outpost

and the museum

pretty busy weekend *phew*
