dd has a bad cough

what can i do to help her not be so miserable? the only thing i know to do is to give her honey. she sounds a little congested when she coughs and her nose started running a bit today but she doesn't really have a cold.

lots of saline, foods high in vit c, oregano/onion/garlic in her foods. rub diluted oregano oil on her throat

honey and lime, blueberries, homemade popsicles.....

Homemade chicken soup (my dd takes it plain but if she doesn't add honey, garlic, turmeric, ginger), lots of vitamin C, lots of drinking water, steam (create a sauna in your bathroom) aromatherapy bath is great you can even take one together. Bath salt, peppermint, lavender and a fresh cup of cold water to drink while you relax, lullaby music. After her bath or steam session give her a nice massage (face, neck and feet) warm blanky (just put it in the dryer for a few minutes), at night a vapor rub on her chest and humidifier. Praying she feels better soon!

i need to plug the vaporizer in tonight. i've noticed that i've slept a lot better since we've turned the heat off.
