Nope lol. I have one that “won’t” eat rice because of a texture issue - but she loves cauliflower rice. so I mix the two and only let her see me add the cauliflower rice. “Is this rice? I don’t like rice.” “You saw me dump in the cauliflower rice.” “Oh ok I’ll eat it then.” (yes I understand SPD and if she wouldn’t eat it mixed I wouldn’t do it, but at this point it seems to be more mental than actual SPD and she eats it) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: April Meals
Monday was pasta, Tuesday make your own quesadilla, I did falafal rice bowls last night. So on a bed of brown rice rather than in pita pockets. No one complained about the carb change out so I felt like it was a win.
I have no further plans for the rest of the week. ITs a busy week.

Re: April Meals
With Holy Week, I have varying numbers of peeps fasting on varying days and meals. It's a little confuzzling!
Last night I made pork chops, oven fries, and roasted green beans, Taco Bowls the night before that. Tonight? Tempted to just do leftovers/fend for yourself, especially given church tonight.

Re: April Meals
I made pasta for the first time in forever. Cajun chicken with a cream sauce. And an Italian chopped salad that I'm obsessed with lately. It's a copycat California Pizza Kitchen recipe. I've never actually been to that place so I have no idea if it's accurate but it's so yummy!

Re: April Meals
Cabbage is coming in the garden. I have a Napa variety and a French cabbage (sort of Napa shaped?). I need to figure out what to make with it.
My kids are kind of over the egg roll in a bowl and ramen applications of cabbage (I'm not though!), and we prefer cabbage cooked (instead of raw/salad or fermented). Any ideas? |

I used flat iron steak. We make this with 1/2 t chipotle seasoning rather than the canned peppers since I don't imagine they are corn-free. This is a household favorite. We serve with rice and crockpot refried beans. ---------- Post added at 07:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:32 PM ---------- Napa cabbage is great for making your own kimchi.

Re: April Meals
We had stew with sweet potatoes, onions, celery, and carrots. I left the carrots whole, and they are so pretty and much tastier. We had this on Saturday too. It's been a stew kinda week with cabinet painting.
