Has anyone used Joy Hakim's A History of US?
I'm trying to decide what to order. We'll be doing it in a co-op and there are two teacher guides and two student guides. One is designed for 5th graders mostly and one is for 8th graders. I have a 5th grader and an 8th grader, but it sounds like the student guides might be similar and if so I'd rather just get one or the other. My fifth grader is fairly advanced and could probably do 8th grade level work but I'll need activities suited for younger kids as well for our co-op lessons. Any input on teacher and student guides, elementary or middle/high school? We're doing volume 3- Colonies to Country, if that matters.
