so if you wash clothing with a sticker on it...
What is the best way to remove the leftover sticker residue on the clothes?

I've seen (and have) some adhesive removers. They're packaged like alcohol pads. I guess it would depend on the fabric, testing a small square first, but usually it gets the adhesive off without damaging the clothing.

I think Goo Gone works too - you'll want to try an inconspicuous spot on the shirt first - I think it might leave an oily residue.

I just did a search and ebay has some. Here's a particular listing that looks cheap enough

I'm lazy..I usually just keep washing them without drying them till it's gone.

goo gone is great.....I use it on so many things. Works for gum, latex based paint, playdough residue that got ground in, slept on silly putty, etc.
I wash more stickers than I care to remember!
